An experiment in DIY-ing

With my roomie's birthday coming up, I finally got a chance to try out the acrylic paints we bought, and painted a teacup for her.

Look at these awe-inspiring art skills.

The painting took me about a week, because the paint had to dry for ~24 hours before I could paint over any parts without smearing (which I learned the hard way) and I had to hide it from her.

Unfortunately, I dropped it just as I was about to hand it over, and it shattered into a million tiny pieces. Boo.

A "part 2" on this whole teacup-painting thing may be necessary.
